His build is trim but it's sculpted with muscle, particularly in his chest and arms, as these are the most exposed usually during his fighting. He has an all-around rough look to him, though unusually he has few visible scars (an especially notable one at his left temple), numerous piercings, and a tattoo of a skull-and-crossbones on his left arm. He keeps his short hair bleached platinum blonde and swept back away from his face. His expression is typically frozen in what seems to be an almost judging and permanent scowl. He is usually in his school uniform, though the jacket of this uniform always seemingly thrown over his shoulders rather than putting his arms through the sleeves. •HISTORY ☆ Kanji had a reputation as being a bully, and is the center of numerous rumors regarding a confrontation with a local biker gang. He also attends Yasogami High. His mother runs a textile shop in their home with Amagi's family being one of their main customers. Kanji is skilled with tailoring for this reason. Recently Kanji was forced to take part in something known as 'The Midnight Channel' His own Midnight Channel dungeon was a men's bathhouse. His 'Shadow' (his 'other "true" self') is a mostly nude version of himself surrounded by roses and holding two Mars symbols. It represents his desire to be accepted by society for who he really is regardless of his sexuality. It is just after this that Kanji is transported to the hotel. •PERSONALITY ☆ To the general public, Kanji isn't all that different from your typical thug, especially if you don't know his age, which in truth is hidden well by his appearance. He's loud, abrasive, hot-tempered, violent, and not all that bright at least not academically. He's often outspoken, preferring to use a threatening tone or an offensive gesture to end an argument than talk it out. This offensive (or is it really defensive?) attitude serves to desperately conceal a softer side to Kanji. In reality he has a kind heart and wants nothing more than to protect his friends and family. Beyond that, he has some rather "effeminate" traits which he's terrified of revealing to the world. Namely that he's actually very artistic and loves to sew, and also that he finds himself attracted to some men, leading to a suppressed suspicion that he might be gay. He buries that side of himself and refuses to acknowledge it, to the point of overcompensating. He's obsessed with being a "real man". •POWERS/ABILITIES ☆ Brawl- Kanji is quite the master of brawl- prone to using his fists, feet and whatever else is at hand- usually the closest chair or heavy object will suffice. Persona!- Due to the strange energies surrounding and coursing through the hotel- the powers of Persona seem to be usable, though not to their full tenacity. The elemental prowess of the creatures still seems usable (in Kanjis case that would be electricity) though the entities themselves are nowhere to be seen, though the users shadow seems to bear a resemblance whenever a 'spell' is cast... Although he can harness his persona's attribute it's a low level form of it, only becoming something overly formidable after a great deal of concentration which in battle situations is quite hard to do. Sewing/Textiles- Being from a family of tailors, kimono makers and textile experts, as well as being the next in line to take over his parents shop, Kanji has always been immersed in the history and creation of fabrics and clothing- from common place clothing to festival pieces. Thanks to this he's a dab hand with a needle and thread and would probably be able to sew anything together- fabric or not- within reason. | ||

You wake up, slightly disorientated and dizzy, not sure where you are. Your surroundings are unfamiliar, a plush, furnished room. Lying on a soft bed and unaware of how you got there and what is that unpleasant smell? Well, you’re in Roosevelt Hotel, this room is now your hotel room –do try not to lose your key and remember the room number, okay. You’ve been selected from the millions to have a vacation in our new, lavishly decorated Hotel. Don’t worry about home, everything will be waiting for you when you get back. If you get back. From now on you’re expected to enjoy the pool, feast on the fine dining, enjoy the gym and get to know your new friends in the bars. We’ve got fun, sunshine and plenty of time to relax. So why would you want to leave? Oh, but that’s right. When the sun goes down, strange things happen. You hear voices, things move on their own and that unpleasant smell you noticed when you first woke up, that comes back from time to time. The stench of burnt wood, smoke and cooking flesh. You see, before the Roosevelt Hotel was refurbished there was a terrible fire, the top two floors of the hotel were destroyed. And guests perished in the blaze. But don’t you worry about that! That was years ago, it’s not like anyone’s out for revenge on the Manager for shoddy fire safety, it’s not like the Manager is covering themselves with over populating to Hotel to buy some time, oh no.
